Mindemoya Classic
Run, Paddle, Pedal
Well done everyone! Another great Mindemoya Classic on a very windy and challenging day on the run, paddle and pedal.
Or maybe we should call that one the first ever Wind-emoya Classic. I personally lost my paddle at one point and wanted to give up for a good portion of that paddle. Oh well, a lesson in perserverance. Hoping for a little less wind next year and maybe we'll have a plan B in our pocket just in case.
It's mostly just for fun, but times are below in case you're interested.
Thanks again to Al Haner for all his work helping with the setup, and to Rick, Julianne and Holly for keeping everyone pointed in the right direction. Thanks to Al Morka for his help with timing and Hannah and Mark for taking photos for us. And thanks to the Central Manitoulin Lion's Club for partnering with us to host this event.
See you all next year!
